Formula 1 Azerbaijan GP 2021 Live Stream, Schedule & Live Telecast Information: Can Red Bull Dominate The Baku Street Circuit Or Will There Be Redemption for Mercedes

After a dramatic Monaco GP now the F1 action moves to Azerbaijan. The Baku street circuit is all set to return to action after 1 year of hiatus due to Covid 19. Azerbaijan GP will take place between June 4th to June 6th, 2021. Monaco GP sprung a lot of surprises, first surprise was Charles Leclerc finishing on the pole as he crashed immediately after setting the best time and brought out the red flag and thereby aborted the hot lap of other drivers. The surprises didn’t stop here, Leclerc couldn’t start the race as Ferrari couldn’t prepare the car in time which automatically promoted Max to pole and his only challenger Bottas remained stuck in the pit for eternity as the front tire couldn’t be removed. They literally took the sting out of the race as Max comfortably finished the race without any challenge. Now the action will be on Baku City Circuit and Sportsfeista brings you Formula 1 Azerbaijan GP 2021 Live Stream, Schedule & Live Telecast Information.

Max Verstappen took the lead in the drivers’ championship and in a double blow to Mercedes they lost the lead in the constructor championship. Botta’s race finished in pits, while Lewis ended a painful seven, even after the two DNF by the drivers ahead of him. We couldn’t see much of the overtaking opportunity in Manaco but Baku is exactly the opposite with its long straight definitely going to assist overtakes

What to Expect Azerbaijan GP 2021

Azerbaijan GP is going to be very interesting, Mercedes after the forgetful weekend in Monaco will definitely look for a comeback but the Baku Street Circuit may assist Red Bull more. There is much debate already started about the flexible wings used by Red Bull, Mercedes, McLaren & Aston Martin thinking about a protest as FIA not going to address this issue until French GP.

Mercedes vs Red Bull Gripping Contest

Baku Street Circuit is going to be different than Monaco, it will assist more overtaking courtesy of 2.2 km long straight. The battle between Red Bull and Mercedes already intensified. Hamilton has the upper hand in terms of victories as he won 3 race and Verstappen 2. But Max was able to click podium on every race, while Lewis ended his race in Monaco 7th. Sergio Perez is new to Red Bull and will take some time to adapt but for Mercedes Bottas with two DNF was not able to help his team much. He should be the one challenging Lewis but he didn’t even look like posing any problem to Max Verstappen.

Consistency of McLaren vs Improving Ferrari

Ferrari sprung a big surprise with the improvement in pace, they’re not playing second fiddle to anyone in Monaco, they’re clearly looking for a challenging team in Monaco. And many still believe that had there not been an issue with Leclerc’s car he could have won his home race with ease. McLaren on the other hand, showing consistent performance, specifically, Landon Norris has been impressive, he brilliantly fended off the late charge from Sergio Perez in Monaco GP. If Daniel Ricciardo gets settled with McLaren soon they will be a team to beat in midfield. If Ferrari continues to show the kind of pace they showed in Monaco the championship battle can be a triple header between Mercedes, Red Bull & Ferrari.
